Lucy Avelino
Co-Founder
With more than 40 years in the travel industry, Lucy brings deep expertise and a personal touch to every trip she plans. She began her career with Collette Vacations as a reservations agent and transportation coordinator for group tours before becoming an independent travel advisor. Lucy has also worked with Viking Cruises, where she sharpened her knowledge of both river and ocean cruising.
Her specialties include luxury cruises, cultural and culinary travel, and trips to Portugal, the Azores, and Cape Verde. Fluent in Portuguese and Cape Verdean Creole, Lucy is passionate about connecting travelers to authentic experiences. Clients value her calm, thoughtful planning and her ability to design itineraries that feel seamless and stress-free.
Tony Mendes
Co-Founder
Tony is newer to the travel industry but brings a strong background in client service and small-business ownership, along with a lifetime of personal travel experience. He has explored the Caribbean, Portugal, and Iceland, and uses that insight to guide his clients with confidence and care.
Tony specializes in Caribbean escapes, cruises, and sports travel packages, with access to exclusive events like the Masters, Super Bowl, Grand Prix, Kentucky Derby, and World Cup. He’s known for his approachable style, his ability to ask the right questions, and his dedication to making sure every detail is handled. Clients appreciate Tony’s enthusiasm and his commitment to creating travel experiences that are both exciting and effortless.
